Announcement of New IOP Leadership

Ryohei Tanaka has been appointed the new Director and Chairperson of the Executive Board of Trustees of the Institute of Oriental Philosophy, effective April 1st. Former Director Akira Kirigaya has been appointed as Advisor to the institute.

Ryohei Tanaka specializes in German language and literature (Goethe) and has previously served as professor at Okayama University, Soka Women’s College, and Soka University, as well as Executive Vice President of Soka University.
